Just be aware that if you are on Facebook that you could be targeted with an
email that if opened will infect your computer with a virus.

 

It may come from a friend on your Facebook or even in my case, I received
one this morning with the following email from someone with whom I am not
connected with on either Facebook or Linkedin.

 

"XXX sent a message.

Re: Did you likee our smmall secrret camerra?

"you dont have me on film do you?"

XXX has shared a link to an item from Cute dog gifts with you. To view the
share or to reply to the message, follow this link:
http://www.facebook.com/X/?inbox/readmessage.php
<http://www.facebook.com/X/?inbox/readmessage.php&t=1XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXX> &t=1XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

 

If you have opened a link in an email like this, change your password and
run a virus check or two.  I would suggest that if you are running one of
the main Virus Checkers, Norton etc, that you should also download a
shareware lesser known virus checker, as these days the Trojans/ virus will
also target the major virus checkers.

 

Remember to keep your Virus Checker definition files updated.
