"A former Cedars-Sinai Medical Center employee was sentenced to four years,
eight months in prison after pleading guilty today to stealing patient
information to defraud insurance companies of $354,000."

Pretty interesting story- doesn't actually explain how he got the money from
the insurance companies personally, but he's doing time and paying the fine. 

Would be interesting to find out if these were paper based or electronic
records that he accessed and abused- may change people's mind about the
savings we'll see from EMR/EHR implementations if there is a failure to
establish and adopt Standards to protect content first.
