*Job Summary*
Develops and manages the company records department and information
management programs. Organizes, converts, and integrates files for storage
while ensuring that all information practices meet state regulations and
company standards.

*Essential Job Functions*
Responsible for the organization’s records and information management (RIM)
program and personnel

Responsible for all recorded information that the organization needs to do
business

Oversees all activities involved in the management of information and
retention of records

Maintains and updates RIM policies, procedures, and record retention
schedules

Has budgeting responsibilities and is responsible for staff training,
evaluation and development

Directs people and programs to achieve the assigned responsibilities and
results

Ensures that company personnel are knowledgeable and kept current about RIM
principles and requirements, and that they receive RIM training appropriate
to their needs

Audits compliance with RIM Program

Able to work closely with other departments to evaluate, research, and
recommend information management solutions, including e-discovery solutions

Manages vendor relationships and assists departments in the appropriate use
of offsite hard-copy records storage arrangements

Exhibits strong written, oral, and consensus-building communications skills

Able to communicate and work effectively with the Information Technology
Department

Able to communicate and work effectively with the Legal Department

*Preferred Experience/Certifications*
• 5-7 years of relevant records and information management experience with
one year of RIM supervisory or RIM management experience
• Certified Records Manager (ICRM
• Project Management Professional (PMI)
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (IAPP)

*Education*
Bachelor’s degree with specialized course work in records management,
computer technology, legal or business management
