Larry, you're exactly right. Yahoo groups that Peter got many of us (me)
using is actually much easier to work with - and free. I miss the ability to
send email easily to the entire group or any member from within the group.
Our task force is using a distribution list and our own email accounts to
keep in touch outside of SharePoint.

So yeah.. it's like I said a long time ago about M$ sharepoint as a
collaboration tool... it ain't no Yahoo Groups, and it ain't free!!

Even including the wiki feature through a 3rd party interface, you can't
capture exchanges and document decisions in many/most wikis as to who said
what when... and in certain processes thee is a requirement that is
captured. The use of e-mail within a YG supported that.
