Title:  Associate Director - Records Management, Head Records Management Support Office
Location: Quintiles (Overland Park, Kansas office)

Purpose
Works with global leadership in formulating effective strategic goals and objectives for designated region and assures operational alignment with senior management priorities. Works with other functional management to develop implementation plans.

Responsibilities
*          Implement electronic Trial Master File initiative
*          Create and develop Support Office (RMSO) for Global Records Management
*          Serve as Head of RMSO
*          Act as Client Liaison/Project Manager for Imaging/Scanning function for Sponsors
*          Create and deliver Records Management and Imaging Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
*          Create and implement project specific and global process training for RM
*          Create and develop budget models and Project Instructions, as requested
*          Participate in ad hoc RM teams, as assigned

Required skills, knowledge and abilities
*          In depth knowledge and ability to apply records management practices and applicable regulatory guidelines
*          Knowledge of financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods
*          Strong leadership and presentation skills
*          Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*          Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English
*          Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
*          Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
*          Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, with co-workers, managers and clients.

Minimum Required Education and Experience


*          Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or other GxP regulations

*          Bachelors degree in a health care or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent;10 yrs of experience working on records management or technically-related areas with 7 years experience in a leadership capacity or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
