Temperature & Humidity Targets for Hardcopy Storage:
A target temperature and relative humidity for storing records composed of a variety of materials is 68º F. +/- 2º F and 40% +/- 5% relative humidity. Excessive heat, poor air circulation, and relative humidity above 65% can provide a suitable climate for mold growth

Subject: Archives Settings: Temperature/Humidity
Dear all,
I have just recently started a job that requires my managing a standard
records center in addition to an archival repository. This is my first
time managing an archives and would like to know thoughts on temperature
and humidity settings.
Any recommendations would be helpful.
Thanks,
Jamie Corona
