I've just spent 2 beautiful days in the Western Washington sun on a declared all analog only break. You'll
remember I have done this before. I believe this used to be called "getting your head together."
And yes I do find myself reaching for my Blackberry. A dose of real vinyl records, driving a 36 year old car, playing the old guitars (I have my dad's axes from 1939 & 1959), and moving 3 pickup truck loads of concrete blocks helps to keep me grounded. Not that I dislike technology. I have a need and a drive to understand it. Yet I surround myself with simple things.
So you might find me texting at midnight - my cell has a QWERTY keyboard. But for right now I need to maintain and bask in the light of the old stuff.
Hey gotta run...the snail mail is here!
Rock on!
