*JOB DESCRIPTION*

We are currently looking for a Records Management (RM) Analyst at a faderal
Washington, DC. This role operates across organizational and computing silos
to drive effective and appropriate management of information produced in and
received by DOL, irrespective of the medium in which the information exists.
Responsibilities include:
o Analyzing and improving existing methods / processes for arranging,
indexing and classifying records
o Advising on records schedules, storage, and media
o Facilitating the development of file plans, filing systems, and retention
/ disposal schedules and maintaining these to meet archival / legal and
business requirements
o Creating policy frameworks for how personnel are expected to manage their
records and use the systems in place
o Managing meetings, including development of agendas, minutes, action items
and issues
o Anticipating personnel, quality, cost, and schedule issues and assisting
with their resolution

The ideal candidate will be ICRM, NARA and / or AIIM Certified with
experience leading IT projects.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required - Ability to:
o Setup, maintain, audit, and document records systems / processes
o Identify the most appropriate records management resources
o Advise on and implement new records management policies and classification
systems
o Prepare comprehensive documentation packages
o Facilitate documentation reviews and approvals, and monitor progress
o Recognize potential obstacles to approvals and take corrective action
Strong writing skills, interpersonal skills, customer relationship
management skills, and flexibility are a must.
Desired:
o Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel and SharePoint)
o Understanding of / experience with IT Capital Planning (including OMB 300)
processes and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
Skills Education/Certifications • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of
study
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience of which at least four (4) years
must be on federal government projects.
• NARA, AIIM and / or ICRM Certified a plus.
