Joe, if you're interested in the management of electronic records, you
should also look at Model Requirements for the management of electronic
records, version 2 (MoReq2), developed by the European Commission
(http://ec.europa.eu/transparency/archival_policy/moreq/spec_moreq2_en.h
tm).

MoReq, unlike DoD 5015.2, was not specifically developed for a Defense
environment or even for a government environment, so it is much more
generally-applicable.
