Greetings,
I have just joined this list today and thought I would introduce myself. I am a librarian with 25+ years of experience and have been reassigned by my president this academic year to oversee the organization, retention, and possible destruction of campus (student, personnel, etc.) records. As you can imagine, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed . . . . .
Anyway, forgive this question if it is too elementary or has been covered before. I'd like to digitize the records that are retained on a permanent basis and wondered if there are any suggestions as to what electronic format would be best to preserve them in. Was thinking about a searchable .pdf, but wondered if you had any recommendations. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you! Best,
