All...The research project entitled "A Model Records Management System
for Texas Public Utilities:  An Information Science Tool for Public
Managers" has now been posted over 1 year and received nearly 1,000
full-text downloads.  I want to thank you all for your help and feedback
during the last year.  A special thanks goes out to Fred Walden @
Becthel SAIC for giving me some valuable feedback on items within the
paper.  I am now seeking your assistance in reviewing it and letting me
know your thoughts off-list.  This resources is designed to help public
agencies (especially utilities) establish a complete records management
program.  

 

The paper does focus on building records management systems for Texas
Public Utilities, but the principles in the Ideal Model tables are
universal.  Input was received through review of scholarly literature
(including review of existing programs/systems) and feedback from a pool
of experts (including members of the list).  Please feel free to
download and cite or reference as necessary.  A suggested citation does
appear on the page.  Contact me if you have any questions whatsoever.
