"I have been asked if there is an easy way to product documents without their metadata.  I thought this topic was discussed before, but I searched the archives but didn't find anything.  Any ideas?"

One tool that does a wonderful job of scrubbing metadata before documents are sent out is Workshare Professional.  Workshare does a lot of other things, but metadata scrubbing is right at the top of the list.  Below is a link to their website:
