People to People is a respected organization. Both of my daughters have participated in their "Student Ambassador" programs, both travelling to Europe as junior high school students. They are a first class organization and manage their trips very well.

This trip is part of their adult programming. I've received a few of these invites (including this one) over the years. I don't know anyone who has actually done one of the archives trips, but I would expect it to be well-organized and run. The delegation leader is Elizabeth Adkins, who is well known in the archives and records management communities.

Note that you can feel honored to have been "selected", but you only get to go if you pony up a check. It is a pricey trip, but I would expect it to be a good opportunity if you are able to get it funded.
