I asked if they sell the list. I did not speculate that they do.

I am an ARMA member and have not received this invitation.  Seems like speculation that ARMA is selling membership lists.

Does ARMA sell mailing lists? The reason I ask is that I received the
same invitation. This cannot be coincidence.

Earl,
I'm glad you posted this. I just received the same invitation and was
curious as well.
Thanks to all that can shed some light on this program.
Please include me on any responses at [log in to unmask]

Program for Global Archives Management?

Good morning,

I'm curious as to whether anyone in RM-land is familiar with the subject
program and the work they do?  Has anyone ever participated in a similar
delegation?  If so, where did you go?  As this program appears to focus
on archives management, I'm not sure how-as a records manager, I was
selected but I am very interested.  Apparently, this program's primary
objective is to "seek a better understanding of the archival profession
in South Africa" through 1-on-1 dialogue with overseas counterparts, for
professional diplomacy.

It sounds like quite an opportunity but I'd love to hear about other
experiences with this, or similar programs.  If anyone can share similar
experiences then please contact me off-list.

Thanks.
Earl
