When our IT Department set up the email purge policy, it started at 60
days.  Then stretched to 90 days and has now stretched again to 180
days.  Items from the "Sent Items" folder are still purged after 60
days.  No archives are maintained and Outlook's archiving function has
been disabled.  If anyone chooses to save an email longer than 180 days,
it has to be saved as a text document outside of Outlook.

Yes, I see all the eyes rolling out there.  Mine too.  Doesn't help.
