Robin,
thanks so much for sharing this. It is so timely for me. I have a client
who had key employee leave and I am "Bringing Order Out of Chaos" both in
paper and electronic files that reside on the desktop as well as the network
server. Whew it has been an effort this week. I just asked the IT guy on
Monday about printing out the directories and he gave me the copy to
wordpad copy and paste contents to notepad/excel. I then ran across using Dos
command prompt but, guess what? I have forgotten all the Dos commands and
don;t have a reference book on them. Need to add that to my toolkit. ;)
Anyway this solution by help a lot. Everything this employee was doing
had gotten in total disarray. Sad.
Thank you so much.
