Like Fred, I too am going to take the bait and make something positive out
of it. I plan to do it when I meet with our incoming chief of
administration next week. I will pitch the records program as it should be
and is now...the manager of corporate intellectual assets and
institutional memory. I expect her to be receptive since she's a litigator
and headed up efforts on discovery (and previously had casual
conversations on the ties between discovery and RM). I don't want to say
too much right now but will let y'all (picked up from my stint in Austin
TX. The Northeastern equivalent "youse guys" isn't quite the same) know if
it worked. And Julie, if you don't mind, I think I might like to
appropriate your legal/IT/RM analogy when I meet my new leader.
