Subject: [RM] Date stamping electronic documents
Hello,
My name is Steve Geurds from the Town of Colonie, a stones throw away
from Albany, New York's state capital.
The Town Clerk's Office has on file decisions from various boards that
require a date stamp. The date stamp on the document marks the beginning
of the decisions effective period. Without the date stamp the window on
the effective period remains open, often longer than intended.
If we were to receive the decision as a TIFF or PDF/A file, how would we
apply a date stamp to it? Is there software that can accomplish this?
Thanks for your help
Steve
