Winnie:

Getting the data off will require not only reading the platter, but knowing
what software was used to copy the data onto them. Otherwise you can't know
what file system was used, nor how to connect the images to their metadata.
With great effort you might be able to cobble together an extraction
process, but I would take it to a commercial conversion service. If you
contact me offline, I can give you a few firms to call.

Subject: Help with optical platters

Hi everyone, my name is Winnie Tsang and I have been learning lots
through this group, thank you.

It is my turn to ask for help with a problem that I need your expertise
on.

We have over 6,000 1.3 optical platters and our jukeboxes are dead.

What would be the best and fastest way to convert these platters over
and with what equipment that would not cost an arm and a leg?

Eagerly awaiting your suggestions..thanks.../Win
