Our organization is in the beginning stages of setting up a vital
records program.  
 
We retain both microfiche and microfilm.  For the microfilm, how do I
determine if it is on silver halide, diazo or vesicular films.  Can I
look at the roll and make a determination?  Is there some type of
marking on the roll?  
 
Any information you can provide will be very helpful.
