Years ago I worked in the medical records field at a hospital in Milwaukee, WI. My boss at that time (this was the 1970's) wanted me to take the courses to complete a CRT (certified records technician). She was an ARM (I believe it stood for Accredited Records Manager). These titles were (at least then) specific to the medical field, but I have no memory of how or from whom they were obtained. Don't know how much that helps.
