We use fields of metadata that need to be filled in. One of those is the approved/created date of the record, not the date we upload to SharePoint.

Subject: SharePoint Document Date Created - not captured
When uploading a document to SharePoint, the Date Created becomes the
date the document was uploaded, not the date the document was originally
created. Does anyone know of a way around this as this poses a problem
from a retention perspective? Is there a fix for this? Any and all
comments/suggestions are welcome!
