Yes, your computer back-up should be in a separate building - at a

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - A blaze near Southfield and Twelve Mile roads kept
fire crews busy for hours on Wednesday. The smoke could be seen for
miles.

Blown by a brisk, 20 mile-per-hour wind a huge fire raced through
Harvard Plaza. It quickly became a 10,000 square foot fire scene.

Husband and wife Bill and Dixon Turner are insured, but they lost
valuable information for their family run real estate, insurance and
mortgage company.

"All of the files, information, everything on the computers, everything
gone," said Dixon Turner.

"We had a backup on our computer and everything, but all of that's
inside the building," said Bill Turner.

The smoke from the fire could be seen for miles. Built in the 1960s,
Harvard Plaza is also home to a dance studio, nail salon, medical supply
and a home health care office.

The fire started in the attic, but the exact cause has not been
determined.

Firefighters from Southfield, Birmingham, Farmington Hills, Royal Oak
and Bloomfield Township all fought the blaze.

Everyone safely evacuated. There were no injuries.

Southfield Fire arrived on scene just four minutes after dispatch, but
the wind was already pushing fire through. Just as he drove up,
Southfield's Fire Chief witnessed a violent back draft explosion. It
blew a wall out into the parking lot.

"The back drafts are rare, but I had just pulled my car up here when it
happened, and it actually blew out the siding and the door on this
side," said Southfield Fire Chief Peter Healy.

The fire remains under investigation.
