I think sometime last year there was a thread about RIM's relationship
within an organization. Should it be part of legal, compliance, IT, risk,
etc. Rather, where is it best suited to achieve it's purpose. I am
inclined to align RIM program with legal and compliance, but am open to
all perspectives, especially if someone feels strongly that RIM be a part
of IT. I'd be most appreciative if someone can be point toward the thread
and/or related writings and ruminations.

I have a second question. (While it may sound simplistic, I would like to
hear initial thoughts from fellow colleagues.): Is records management a
process or a service? Or is it more one than the other?

Thank you in advance,

Stephen Cohen
