Sharon - I agree with "copying" the assistant, but including them on the
"to" line for distribution seems overkill. Don't you think?

Copying the assistant on a legal hold is part of our standard practice.
In many instances an assistant needs to be aware a hold exists since
they may very well be the person maintaining the affected materials.
Varies by work group and organization.
