Good Morning All,

First off, sorry for cross-posting, I'm just hoping to get as many
answers as possible: To the extent that you work at a law firm, and it
has an Estate Planning practice, how do you store your client's Original
Executed Documents (Wills, Ancillary Docs, Trusts, etc.)? Or for that
matter, do you keep Wills separated from Trusts? Does the pervasiveness
of Electronic Copies have any impact on your decision?

Specifically, I need feedback from NY firms, but I'd love to hear from
anyone. We have ours in a temperature/humidity controlled room that's
mostly fire-resistant, some in fire-rated cabinets, some not.
Importantly, that room is in the same building as our firm. I'm trying
to make the case that they need to be offsite in a more secure location.

Thoughts?

Ray
