Point taken.  And well said.
 
If you've done your due diligence in an open-minded way and still found the cloud to be too great a risk, then you've provided the best service you can for your customer.  Though I may disagree with your opinion, I applaud your professionalism.  It's a standard I strive to live up to, as well.
 
My concern, in this case, is not specifically cloud computing, but across-the-board rejection of any new technology that is motivated by fear.  Sadly, it's something I see all too often and I think it damages our profession.
