Hello, my name is Joy Sowle, Information Records Management Analyst for NV Energy, Inc., a utility located in Nevada, USA, servicing the electricity needs of 2.4 million customers.  We also provide natural gas to more than 150,000 customers in Northern Nevada.

Our Corporate Records Department currently utilizes Excel for creating and updating our Records Retention Schedule for over 130 departments in our Company .  Every two years, a review of the Corporate Retention Schedule is done by Outside Counsel.  Changes are made by the attorney and returned to us in Excel, where in turn, each Analyst must cut and paste the changes into their appropriate departments' Retention Schedule.  This process is extremely time consuming.

I would like to create a database using Microsoft Access, where we could download to and upload from Excel, as this is the program the attorney prefers.  Has anyone worked in Access to create their company's records retention schedule?  If so, I would like to contact you to discuss.
