HI Wayne....

We are in the process of  re-vamping  our email system.  We use Lotus 
Notes.  The new system will have our EDRMS file structure in the same 
window as our email system.  The user will simply "click and drag" their 
email into the EDRMS.  As a matter of fact, they probably won't even know 
that this is what they are doing.  We are just waiting for the latest 
version of Notes which will allow us to accommodate this.

I chaired an email committee.  The comments which were spoken loud and 
clear were that whatever system you decide to use, has to be easy and 
somewhat "transparent" in nature.  That is that users need not worry about 
retention and the process is simple.  The above solution meets all the 
needs of the committee.
