Diane,
I can't agree with you more. Studying for exams and passing a test is one thing; having the experience in multiple areas of the profession is what qualifies someone to step in and implement a program. I am also concerned this is going to be a step backward and may impact CRM salaries in the future.

My concern, for what ever that is worth at this point is that we did
not stay in concert with the PMI and CPM, or CPA, or CPE, etc. I feel
it waters down the prestige and respect for the ICRM. Balance is one
thing, watering down the requirements is another. I am very
dissappointed with this decision. The BOD should be more connected
with the membership and feel comfortable enough in power to get
opinions before issuing such a monumental change to the requirements.
