Digitizing city documents is tall order for archivist - Peabody - Your Town
- Boston.com
No one in Peabody City Hall has ever been buried under a stack of paperwork
like the one Kelly Turner will try to dig herself out from underneath during
the next year. The archives director for the Peabody Historical Society has
been contracted by the city to organize and digitize thousands of documents
and ledger books dating back to the 1850s that are stored in two City Hall
vaults.
