Thanks Peter for posting this.
I personally have been moving photos to an external hard drive but this
reminds us that photos too may need to be transferred over time to keep up
with technology changes. We as a people are covered with digital photos as it
is so easy and so inexpensive vs. the past cost of processing, film and
cameras. We as a people are keeping everything just like we have with paper
and other electronic files. So this is a wakeup call for us to look for a
way to preserve those photos that are really very important to our and our
family and our businesses.
