TRAK Records and Library is recruiting for three exciting Records Management opportunities in the Minneapolis area.  This is for a local government contract client and will entail supporting the development and implementation of an electronic records management programs using Oracle URM.  We are seeking candidates that can fulfill the following criteria or any portion thereof:

- Define strategy for implementing a comprehensive physical and electronic records management program.
- Work closely with Records Manager to review/consolidate the retention policy categories (nearly 1000) and determine a record retention schedule for implementation into URM.
- Mentor and assist application analysts with Oracle URM implementation.
- Assist Records Manager(s) in creating a training template for training departmental Records Managers in the use of URM.
- Use best practices to plan an efficient URM implementation, including physical and electronic records, metadata model, workflow, and retention rules.
- Define processes for implementing physical and electronic records management.
- Migrate approximately75,000 physical records from Stellent Fixed Records Management to Oracle URM.
- Document the setup and configuration of URM.
- Identify and track technical tasks.
- Implement rules to initiate the disposition and destruction process within ECMS.
- Coordinate and educate Records Managers on the program and processes.
- Evaluate all content collections and validate retention policies or modify/add metadata.
- Identify and track technical tasks.
- Define process to control retention of content residing on shared business drives, home drives, cd's, flash drives.
- Identify content to be migrated to ECMS.
- Migrate and apply retention to non-managed content as applicable.
- Identify and track technical tasks.
