I wonder how many archives collecting OWS material have a corresponding
collection of material from the Tea Party Movement?
<<

Peter,

That would depend on their collections policy. An archives/archival
repository should have a collections policy that states the types and
topics of materials that it will collect. Otherwise everyone would
collect everything. For examples, the Archives of the Historical Society
of Western Pennsylvania would not be interested in archival material
from Cleveland, OH with no ties to anyone in W. PA. So an archival
repository whose mission/collections policy is to document the OWS would
not also be interested in Tea Party materials. An archival repository
whose policy is to document popular/grassroots political movements would
probably be interested in material from both movements.
