Hi all, a quick intro - I have been off work for a year for personal reasons, but am back, and in need of this wonderful list's expertise.  I have been in records management for 32 years, the last 25 with the Public Service Alliance of Canada.  I started in the Government of Canada's Finance Department, and was warned that I should change my vocation, as RM would soon be obsolete, and the offices would be paperless!  LOL!  Now, I am actually looking forward to that day.  

We are suffering some massive cuts in our public services here in Canada, with Library and Archives heavily hit.  I hope that everyone affected will be able to find employment elsewhere!  My thoughts are with you!
