Management Benchmark Survey of information managers and librarians in 
corporations, nonprofits, public libraries, government agencies, and 
educational and healthcare institutions. If you have already completed the 
Survey, we thank you.



The Survey asks about information center budgets, content spending, and 
staffing. All responses are confidential. The data will be presented in 
aggregated form only. We ask that only one person from each information 
center or library answer the Survey to avoid duplicate responses from the 
same organization.

Everyone who completes the Survey will receive a summary of the topline 
results. This summary will provide concrete benchmarks you can use for 
comparison of your library to similar organizations. Use it to justify 
spending, hone your resource allocation decisions, and provide your 
management with key metrics about your content portfolio. The full report, 
Information Management Trends and Benchmarks 2012, can be purchased from 
Outsell, Inc.

In addition, respondents can enter a drawing for a Kindle Fire HD, an iPad,
