We do  not consider databases a record at this site.  If the database contains record material, then the custodian is required to save periodic reports as record material.

We would like to know how other companies are handing databases for records purposes.  Is the database considered the record or are the contents considered the record?  Or is the information you pull out of the database considered the record?   Any assistance is appreciated.  Thank you!
