The Puget Sound Chapter of ARMA International is hosting our November
meeting in Olympia. Computer Forensic Examiner Ronald Godfrey from IT
Forensics will present "E-Discovery - Preparing for the Unthinkable".
Visit http://pugetsoundarma.org/eventseducation/chaptermeetings.html for
details.

This presentation will briefly cover the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that
apply to e-discovery. It will provide an overview of tasks, issues, and problems
to consider when planning and engaing in e-discovery activities. This
presentation will also provide a timeline of events for common e-discovery
requests, and recommendations to help records management personnel
facilitate the discovery process.

As a special incentive to attend, a copy of the speaker's co-authored book, "E-
Discovery, An Introduction to Digital Evidence", will be given away to one of
this meetings attendees.
