Hi Brian,
A while back, I was looking for the same information. I could only find
bits and pieces of the answer for total cost of ownership for storage
costs. I took what I found, used averages, and came up with this - $171.00
per gigabyte of data per year.
I put this information into an infographic. You can find an electronic
version of this infographic on my website at

also includes the source of the
information that I used.
