Great question, Jesse! I was at MER last month and attended the MSFT session on O365. MSFT mentioned that all SP13 functionality - including RM - is available in O365. Regards.

Actually I have a question for Quentin. Can someone at MS put together a definitive list by specific feature what capabilities are supported in
SP2013 vs. O365, generally and specific to RM & ediscovery? I've seen the various posts like this one:

but for example that table doesn't note that custom retention is SP2013 and not O365. The post you referenced does, but again it's not a definitive, all-in-one-place reference list.
