I've only been in my new job for four weeks, but here are some top issues I've identified so far:
-How to provide training or outreach for 23,000 faculty and staff, especially for positions such as teaching/research assistants or student workers who don't usually think that they are handling records. Sometimes we get people calling and asking for training, but how do we identify the gaps - people who need training but don't even know to ask for it?
-How can we streamline or automate our disposition process?
-Drafting records management policies for things like social media, or emails of terminated employees, that staff can practically implement
