We are pleased to bring you February's meeting, which is a half day
workshop by Kurt Thies! This in-depth talk will give you tools and
practices to bring to your own workplace. We hope to see you there!

*12pm-1pm: Lunch*
Lunch will be provided for attendees.

*1pm-5pm: Workshop*
*Making Information Accessible: The New Model for Records Management*
Kurt Thies will talk about how the expectations for managing information
have changed. Users want access to information immediately and decisions
need to be based on analytical data. The historical model of records
management no longer serves these needs. Records Management has moved from
a model of Store & Retrieve to a model of Information Access, Integration
and Action.

Learn how these changing expectation impact the role of records management
and develop a strategy to address them within your organization.

*5pm: Networking Event Sponsored by TAB of the Rockies*
Come and network with your fellow RIM professionals after the workshop!

When: Tuesday, February 23rd 12:00-5:00pm
Where: Denver Police Protective Association Event Center, 2105 Decatur
Street Denver, CO 80211
