Hello all,

My firm looking to start the transition from physical files to electronic format, but haven't been looking into any records management tools. One option is to use both our main shared drive and Thomson Reuters ProLaw. I am planning on talking to the I.T. team here to ask them about storage space and stress that would put on our servers, but I would like to know if anyone uses ProLaw and, also, what inexpensive records management tools one might use for starting electronic storage. We are considering scanning all files including inactive or taking a "today forward" approach and focusing on "Scan-on-demand" with the rest. Just as a point of reference we have 4,003 boxes offsite each with an average of 8 files per box and 600 pages per file.

Thank you,

Brian Steward, Office Clerk | Gilmore & Bell, P.C.
