Please join the Northern Virginia Chapter of ARMA (ARMA NOVA)  for our May
2016 Chapter Meeting as our topic, "Best Practices in a Transforming World,"
continues.  Our speaker for the month is Sukumar Iyer, President & CEO of
Brillient Corporation, an information management company.  His topic will
be, “The Internet of Things, the rise of the machines – and their impact on
information management.”

With the arrival of IP v6, the internet is exploding.  Instead of just
computers, every device and “thing” will be a part of the Internet of Things
(IoT).  As these “things” communicate with us and each other, the amount of
information is going to explode exponentially.  In this engaging session,
Mr. Iyer will explore the IoT rising:
•  A brief history of the internet till today
•  The near future with IoT and intelligent machines
•  The explosion in information, how we handle it
•  Opportunities and threats

Mr. Sukumar Iyer is the President/CEO of Brillient Corporation, an
information management company primarily focused on US Federal Government
contracting.  Sukumar has more than 26 years’ experience working with the
public sector as well as Fortune 100 clients in different industry sectors.
 Sukumar founded Brillient with the vision of helping solve client problems
combining innovation with the right mix of technologies and business
processes to deliver uncontestable value.

His areas of expertise include: business management, organizational
strategy, project/product management, Customer Relationship Management
(CRM), Business Intelligence, and data driven solutions.
