Happy Aloha Friday Listserv Colleagues and Friends!
With the postponement of the ADA Hawaii Tour de Cure in 2017, I’m taking my fight ON THE ROAD to Seattle!
By participating in the ADA Seattle Tour de Cure, I’m joining my friends in the Pacific Northwest in battling this disease. As a Type 2 diabetic, I am not merely riding for myself, but for ALL the people who have pre-diabetes, Type 1 or 2 diabetes. The FIGHT FOR A CURE has no boundaries, so I hope to represent Hawaii by participating in this ride...
By making a donation on my behalf or by joining the RED HOT DIABETES RIDERS team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure. Let’s start a “chain reaction” by riding with me or sponsoring me…
Let’s RIDE and ensure that a parent does not have to hear that their child has diabetes. Let’s FIGHT for a future where an adult does not have to face the uncertain times ahead after receiving a diabetes diagnosis. We have an OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE our destiny and WIN this battle… Together we can Stop Diabetes and Find a Cure!!
