"I was curious to know how others are testing the compliance of their programs within the organization. I work in the financial services industry, and we are looking for ways to ensure enterprise-wide compliance, and just wanted to know what all is being done out there. Is it built in somewhere that managers must attest to, or is there some annual/regular assessment that is performed? Thank you in advance."

Matthew:

Welcome to the listserv and thanks for asking this great question. One thing I have done over the years to test records management compliance is to partner with Audit to set up an audit plan. Additionally, I have also set up and ran an audit function from within the records management department.

Regards, Steve
