Hi Azel,

Archivematica is an open source preservation system that many Archives have
adopted. There are several videos on YouTube on the system. Even if you
don't want to adopt this  product, a lot of the information on their
website and videos give a lot of basic background on digital preservation
aligned with the ISO-OAIS functional model.
