I'd suggest researching the Information Governance Initiative also known as the 
IGI.  Co-founded by renowned IG professionals (some would say icons) Jason R. 
Barron, Esq., Bennett Borden, Esq. and Barclay T. Blair, they would have a good 
handle on this.
