Having to take part 6 three time to pass, I'll pass along the lessons
learning in my failed attempts:

1) Be mindful of the time. Besides just reviewing the sample test
questions, do one in the time frame allotted. That will give you a real
reality check on just what you need to do to get the question answered. The
first time I took the test my strategy was to quickly knock out the low
point question so I could dwell on the high point one. Needless to say I
got bogged down on the low point questions and didn't have enough time to
complete enough of the other.

2) Be mindful of the point totals for the different part, and remember you
only need 70 points to pass. The second time I took the test I got bogged
down on a section that asked for something like 10 action items to take
immediately. I had 8 off the bat, and then spent too much time trying to
come up with another 2 to get the full 10 points. Meanwhile the point
possibilities in the other sections somehow evaded my scrutiny till too
late.

3) Read the questions carefully and do exactly what they say. I can't
remember if it was in my first or second attempt, but when I got my
feedback it was clear that I really missed the boat in crafting what I was
certain was a good response. It probably was, but not for the question
asked.

4) Don't worry about having to take the test again. Through-out my school
days I was one who always scored well on tests, but the CRM exam is
different. Sometimes you have to take it just to understand how it works -
there's no shame in repeated attempts.

Good luck on your exam,

Christian
