The dockets are numbered and arranged chronologically.

The exceptions are the ordinances which were filed at the
beginning of each year and arranged by chapter number and any
oversized docket.

The City Clerk's Office maintains a computer
database which goes back to 1978.

For information on the computerized database, you will need to
speak to the City Clerk's Office.

The City Council proceedings for 1987 and 1988 were published in
book form and are indexed by subject, name, department etc.

The City Archives holds the records of the City Council from
1822-1988.

For information on the City Council records from 1989
to the present, please contact the City Clerk's Office.
